JV's VIEW:

Mike Bauer came out to one game in 2003 and that one game would prove to be a pivotal point in Lugnuts history. It almost never happened though because on that day, Bauer, unbeknownst to him, broke team rule #1 and wore white shoes.

Past transgressions aside, Bauer has become a staple in the Lugnuts line up and pitching rotation. He had a spectacular rookie season on the mound and at the plate. He belted 5 homeruns in 2004, far and away a rookie record.

Bauer as also proven himself a valuable part of the team off the field as well. Most people associated with the team will tell you he is the nicest guy on the team and always willing to go the extra mile for me and for other teammates.

At 21 years of age, Bauer looks posied to challenge all the Lugnuts records and be a staple in our lineup for years to come.

I am glad to have him on the team because we can all count on him being there for us.

Bauer is the best. He hits alot of homeruns, more than my daddy.
